Who’s behind it

A wellness design-and-operation model developed in Chile

Human System grew out of years of experience in health, recovery and human development, and provides the strategic architecture to understand the person as an integrated whole.

José Patricio Carvajal now leads its application as a hotel operating model through Seven Senses System, with Hotel Ladera (Santiago) as the first anchor hotel of the VES model.

The origin

It all began with a question

For years I supported processes of health, recovery and human development across different disciplines and settings.

Along the way I noticed something that kept repeating. Many people received good treatments. They visited good spaces. They worked with excellent professionals. And yet the experience as a whole didn’t always create the impact they were looking for.

Over time I understood that wellbeing doesn’t depend on technique alone. It depends on how people, environment, attention, hospitality, rhythm and every element of an experience relate to one another.

That was when a question began that ended up transforming my work:

How do you design experiences that create wellbeing coherently, deeply and consistently?

From observation to vision

That search led me to look beyond individual disciplines

I began to study patterns, experiences, environments and forms of human interaction.

I realised wellbeing shouldn’t be built as a sum of isolated services, but as a system where each element plays a role within a larger experience.

That vision gave rise to Human System. Later, to Seven Senses System. Together they shape the model that drives VES Wellness Group.

Not as a wellness services company. But as a platform able to design, implement and operate experiences where wellbeing, recovery, hospitality and human development work under a single logic.
